I spent many days of my growing-up live sitting in that exact spot looking at the same horizon. Picnics on the beach, watching the guys play paddle ball at Garfield Street courts.
What a beautiful picture. I, too grew up looking at that exact spot and never really appreciated it until I returned after 10 years out of the country and a hubby and five kids later. Now I love it and am truly grateful!
Just north of the Tropic of Cancer lies the Tropic of Mom! A former South Florida freelance writer turned stay-at-home mom. A former traveler. A former chocolate chip cookie baker. OK, I'm an ex-everything.... Please also check out http://TropicHomeAndFamily.com.

I almost gave up, because I couldn't see anything on the viewscreen, the sun was so bright!
