love the pic!!Which part of florida is it?
I would be scared the house would float away while I was sleeping. Great pictures though.
Are these still there? I thought the government said they had to come down. Would like to think of them still being there...it's part of our history and culture!
Those things must be a treat to be in during a storm.
We love to travel. Hubby and I have decided that soon we'll take a trip to somewhere where I can see water like that. Wow, so green and beautiful.
I'm imagining myself sitting in one of these glorious places on the porch with my feet up on the rail with a fancy drink in my hand and one of those floppy hats on my head barely covering my eyes.
Oh that was a great little day dream! Fab photos!!

As much as I would love to visit those houses, I can't imagine living in one. Too scared of storms, I guess. That water looks so wonderful!
Wow, I had a coworker and friend who used to go out there all the time, I think he was probably there when they were built. Stiltsville, he used to call it. Is it still out there? I always wanted to see it.
That is so beautiful!! Great shots!
I am so intrigued by these. HOW ON EARTH do you maintain them? But the view from there? WOW, eh?
Wow that is amazing!
I find those so amazing! I will never forget seeing those suddenly in the Bay. I truly think those could be something of childhood fantasies :)
