Nuthin
The Man-cub has been getting me up at night. Last night, it was two hours. So, I'm finding it hard to be witty and really have nothing to say. Nuthin.
Except that, when you've been up with your child for hours in the middle of the night (while your husband sleeps) and you bring the boy to your bed out of exasperation and lack of better ideas for getting him to sleep, and then your husband tells you the boy kept slapping him in the face while he slept -- well, that's kinda sorta funny.

hee hee Don't you kinda love that. :o)
Is your Man Cub ill or just going through a phase? I ask since our boys are so close in age and I really, really value his sleep. LOL
I have to admit, I do feel a little relief when bedtime hits and I think I'm getting the rest of the evening to myself until hubby gets home from work.
hehehe that is sorta funny!
As a fellow sleep deprived mom, I SOOO feel you.
I'd have to agree with you on that! I practically do it on purpose. :)
Just do not go down our road of co-sleeping. It started from the best of intentions--he wanted to be near us, we wanted to be near him--and now, three years later, we are in crisis. I am at the point of calling "sleep therapists." Yes, they exist. They come to your home and observe behaviors that happen at bedtime.
If only we had listened to EVERYONE who told us co-sleeping was a bad, bad road. Now, as two working parents, we have a situation where both kids (baby and pre-k) can't/won't go to sleep on their own, and we are exhausted each and every day. Not even speaking of time alone in the evenings.
Has anyone else been here?
Oops, forgive the "working parents" comment. You see how tired I am? Of course I meant to say, "working outside the home."
Now, back to my other gig.
Man, I'm in the same boat as amo. 3 years of not 1 night of straight hours of sleep, sucks!
No worries, I would have thought it was kinda funny, too ;)
I have 3 kids who have all been co-sleepers. It just worked for us I guess. The older two now sleep happily in their own beds, falling asleep on their own. The youngest just turned 1 and he's still in bed with us. I know I need to start breaking him of it but he's my last so I'm reluctant to make him grow up too fast.
