No breasts here
I thought about illustrating this post with a picture of breasts -- don't get too excited because they would be clothed ones, possibly even mine -- but instead I give you this map of downtown Ft. Lauderdale and the route I will be walking tomorrow with hundreds of other people who have raised money in support of breast cancer with the American Cancer Society. (There's still time to donate to my walk!) I hope you're not too disappointed there aren't any breasts on this post.(Hmm.... But if a couple more people donated to my walk, I might be persuaded to upload a picture a la Sarcastic Mom.)
There will be lots of breasts tomorrow, though, and we will be walking in honor and support of breasts everywhere. Because everybody probably knows somebody who has been affected by breast cancer ... because breast cancer kills and leaves behind loved ones in mourning ... because I am glad I was able to nourish my son with breasts ... because even someone so young as 36-year-old actress Christina Applegate had a double mastectomy ... I will be walking for breasts.
Then there will be a follow-up fundraising effort for the legs, feet and backs that ache after all that walking....

Haha!
We also have walk for a cause for the benefit of those people fighting against breast cancer. A leading cosmetic brand hosting it..
Good luck good luck! You rock for doing this! What an amazing cause.
Good for you! It is a great cause.
Wishing you well and lots of energy for your walk tomorrow. What a wonderful cause to support.
Hope Ft. Lauderdale has some mild temps for you all :)
How did the walk go?
We did the Light the Night Walk last month (details) for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It's an annual family tradition for us but I wish it didn't have to be, if you know what I mean.
I hope everything went well with the walk today and you are relaxing tonight. Looks like a long walk, but for such a worthy cause. Kuddos to you for doing it :)
Yay for you!!! I hope all went well!
