My son, the morning person
This morning, I had to wake up my son so we could be somewhere on time. When I came into his room, he was already awake. His eyes were slits.
"Good morning!" I said, rubbing his back. "I hope you had sweet dreams. How about some sunshine?" I said, moving to the window to pull up the blind.
"NO SUNSHINE! NO SUNSHINE!" the Man-cub wailed.
I know he's too young for coffee, but it sure is tempting . . . .

hehehe how about some orange juice in a mug?
What a cutie!
My boys are not morning people either. Every school day I have to drag them out of bed. They come by it honestly, I'm the same! Thanks for stopping by my blog, the comic strip is called Ben. It is really cute!
Aww, that is too cute. Believe me, I can certainly relate to your man-cub. I make our bedroom a cave with our shades in the morning.
Ha, that's exactly how I feel in the morning. It's actually what I tell my kids when they wake up before dawn, "no sunshine, go back to sleep." ;)
I've never been a morning person so I can totally understand. :)
My kids are quite the opposite. They come bounding into my room at the crack of dawn, bright eyed and bushy tailed, wondering where their breakfast is!
That's hilarious! I can see him doing that!
Could you have him speak to my children about that?
Meanwhile, mine wakes up every morning (I hear him shuffling around and insist on ignoring it) by shouting in my face, "GOOD MORNING MAMI!!!!" When I grunt or bury my head in the pillow, he goes on to say, "WAKE UP MAMI, THE SUNSHINE IS OUT!!!"
I'm actually a morning person, but the boy wakes up at like 6 a.m. Yeesh.
