Overdue

Today I got to see this cute little creature who is quite comfortable in my womb with his/her eyes open. I am fine. The baby is fine -- big, but fine. Rather happy, the ultrasound tech said.

Not to put a damper on your comfy-cozy happiness, little one, but you will come out! I promise I'll try my best to make it worth your while.

That happened to me too, and it's awful. At least you know it will be within two weeks!

Too cute. She is comfortable enough to just keep sitting! What a great shot, she is looking straight at you (I say she...as in hopes that you get to shop pink)...I have 2 boys. It will happen soon enough (or at least within 14 days - let the countdown begin)!

Fully baked and ready to come out of the oven. Like brownies. Only bigger.

Baby will come on a day when I'm up north and don't check the computer at all. So. Probably tomorrow then!

Hang in there! I remember how frustrating (and uncomfortable) being overdue is.

Wow, how weird/cool is that, to see baby with eyes open staring right at you! Gave me shivers.

I was wondering today if my little girl remembers life in the womb. If she was bored. Because right now, she sure as hell can't hold still for a few minutes, so I can't imagine her being happy stuck in a womb!

My babies have had to forced out of the womb. And at least one of them would crawl back in there if she could fit! The US pic is great! Baby seems very alert already!

Sounds like that baby needs a little talking to. :)

My sisters babies were always overdue.

I'm pretty sure if any of mine were I might not be sane when they were born. :)

Hee Hee! I was overdue too! Email me if you have any questions about inducing. It wasn't that bad. I got my epidurals very early though (at 3 cm) and was dialated to a 10 within 45 min each time after I got it. Both of my labors were under 6 hours total!! Good luck!

Well by now I hope you have had the precious little one. But I know all about LONG pregnancies. Baby 1 was 10 days overdue. Baby 2 was 7 days overdue. And baby 3 was 5 days overdue. Yea. But I have such LONG labors even when my body wants to be in labor that I was skeptical of induction. Skeptical and a bit afraid of having like a 48 hour labor that turned into a C-section because I had been in labor too long. So, I waited. And they all did eventually come.
