Medicine microwave
Most people have a medicine cabinet. We have a medicine microwave.
Or, rather, the top of the microwave is where all our sick supplies congregate.
Maybe it's just mental: we have a cold, so we're thinking warm thoughts? We want to nuke our bug?
Or maybe it's right where we heat soup or make hot water for soothing tea -- everything is in one place.
We're so lazy.

You're kidding, right? That's ALL you have? I think I wanna come live with you - because obviously, you people never get sick.
Lou -- that's all we have because that's all we can take! They don't make cold medicine for babies anymore, and I can't have anything good while nursing. Even the Man-cub has few medicines for kids his age. That's why we're so miserable.

I have to say that my medicine cabinet is on my counter top. That's even more lazy, I don't even have the umph to lift my arm to put it on top of a microwave. Great post for this week, cold season is raging hot at our house this week.

Ha ha! One of the shelves of one of our kitchen cabinets has somehow turned into a medicine cabinet too. I should clean that out one of these days.
Hey my friend..you are not alone. I had a medicine microwave for 3 years..until our peanut could reach stuff and we had to move it (into a kitchen cabinet) -- I digress. You're not alone!
I'm with you. There's very little I have on hand here because the little ones can't take them. So, we survive on very little cold medicine and drink lots of water.
I have a medicine drawer in the baby's room, that way everything can be accessed quickley. This was not conscious on my part, it just happened.
We have ours here and there..... some is in the cupboard next to the bowls and some is upstairs in the bathroom.
It does stink that you are limited..... get better soon.

LOL I use the top of the microwave too.

That's the top of the sink for me. I have an elevated shelf right above it, and all the meds are there. Totally blocks the view to the backyard, but like you, I'm lazy!
