In the car

Me: "Look at that car next to us! That's a Lamborghini. We don't see a lot of those driving around."

Man-cub: "What is that car, Mom, what is that car over there?!"

Me: "That one? It's a Honda."

Man-cub: "Wow! I'm going to tell Dad we saw a Honda!"

Me: "Um, Lamborghini...?"

Upon entering the Buy Buy Baby store....

Man-cub: "Do you smell that, Mom?"

Me: "What do you smell?"

Man-cub: "It smells like TOYS!"

In the afternoon....

Man-cub: "Mom, I want a snack."

Me: "OK. What kind of snack would you like?"

Man-cub: "A snacky one!"

Man-cub: "Mom, I'm three years old..."

Me: "I know! You're getting to be a big boy."

Man-cub: "...and Dad is four and you're five."

Me: "I'm older than Dad?"

Man-cub: "Yes."

Me: "Sometimes you make me feel older...."

Man-cub: "What?"

Me: "Nothing, dear...."
