Blogger wasteland

I could blog about our trip to Disney World and how I got yelled at for trying to take this picture of the train and then yelled at some more because I wasn't moving forward even though I couldn't because there was nowhere for me to physically move forward to.

But how cool that Disney announced the Atlantis shuttle launch so we could all stop and stare.

Or how cool the new Tron monorail is.

About how maybe a high ponytail isn't the look for me.

Or how I was strangely fascinated by the fairy houses and now feel a compulsion to make some.

And how tiring Disney World is.

But considering my baby isn't even a year old yet and this was his third trip to Disney World, maybe you don't want to hear about Disney. Again.

So maybe I could mention how hard it has been for my boys and me to be on a strict diet that may ease up some behavioral and health problems without having the full list of what we can eat, which is supposed to arrive in the mail. Any day now. We're waiting. Until it comes, we are subsisting on baby pear juice, chicken and rice. And a few other things the site recommends. And by the way, what is up with the phrase "rice cake?" It's not a cake at all -- and believe me, I know cake. It's trickery and lies! It should be called "rice board" or "rice disk." We're going on almost a week now. I miss eating, so I hope this pays off.

I could mention how I'm planning my baby's first birthday party, which is a month away. About how my mother is going to meet my husband's parents for the first time at the party in one of those huh-how-did-that-not-happen-already kind of moments.

Did I mention my baby is turning one?

Hold me.

Maybe I could blog about how preschool is over for the Man-cub for the year and how the summer is stretching out in front of us like the vast ocean. OK, like a lake. And how the school isn't sure it wants the Man-cub to come back in the fall and that we "should have a Plan B." Just in case of ... what condition? It hasn't been laid out on the table. Well, maybe he's too much of a Man-cub to focus at school as he is expected to. And maybe my stomach is tied in knots about the conferences and forms and proposed testing for "special" programs and that's why I haven't been blogging. And maybe I'm thinking my Plan B will be just to stay home and do enriching activities for the next school year.

Yes, there's a lot I could blog about. My head has been spinning. Life happens, and then you blog about it. Or not.

Maybe you just start wondering when you can go back to Disney World again and avoid Life for a while.

The TRon TRain was inti tally named after me. At first it was T Ron T Rain but somebody jumbled up the letters and then it came out Tron.

I'm lying.

Yes. He's lying. I think it's something in the water where he lives.

Anyway.

Sorry to hear about the food issues and the school issues. We have dealt with both for more than 20 years.

Don't look too far ahead. Things have a tendency to shift, from time to time - and sometimes rather suddenly. Just take it one day at a time. One issue at a time.

Ponytail? You look MAH VEL OUS.

Funny, we were in Disney last weekend too! Too bad I didn't know, our Man Cubs could have played together.
Anyway, I am sorry to hear about the school situation. Everything will work out for the best. I know a lot of moms who are homeschooling now and really enjoying it. Good luck.

Wishing good things for you. I'm not fond of head-spinning and too-much-to-think-about either.

Hugs to you. That all sounds very tiring. I like plan B by the way. :) I really hope everything works out for you. I wish I could do something more helpful...too bad a virtual hug is all I've got.

Dude my kid turned two in Feb. and she has been twice- and we live in West Virginia. But since my daughter was actually conceived at Disney World (on our 3rd wedding anniversary- thanks for all the wine Victoria and ALberts) I think she'll survive. But looking at these pics makes me jealous because I so want to go back!!

When there is so much weighing heavy on you, it can be hard to write about. I've been there. A trip to Disney sounds like a nice interruption though. I hope the rest works itself out. As far as rice cakes...blech...you can not have a party and serve rice cakes, can't put a candle in those suckers...although I'm fairly certain some icing would be a much needed improvement...

can't get enough posts about Disney. I haven't been in some time but the last time I went the young employees were rude and yelled at me too. No respect I tell ya.
