Yes, we still do

Breastfeeding

The Junebug will be two years old in a little more than a month. And like many almost-two-year-olds, he likes his milk. He calls it mannamay -- uncanny how manna (food from heaven) ended up part of his name for it. He also likes his snuggle time. So that's why nursing him is (still) perfect.

Little known fact - my "little" guy stopped nursing on Christmas Day. It was only at night for a LONG time, but he was still asking for it. I was ready given his age, but still sad that my little cuddle bug no longer snuggles at night like he used to.

We still do too. :)

My 2-year-old nurses throughout the night (not during the day)...and is not read to give it up.

I ask her about it sometimes, "Are you getting too big for nursing?" "No!" she always answers emphatically.

That would be..."ready to give it up."

(Sorry for the typo).

Good for you! I love his name for mama's milk. So sweet. Levi always called it "nu" and to this day my boobs are "nuins". So, Sophia now nus from the nuins. :)

Could be a super cute derivative of "Mamma may I?"

I love the saying! You know, it is what is right for your family, isn't it? Good for you!

I loved nursing my daughter. It was our special time. Enjoy every minute of it.
