Weekend by numbers: Friends and food
1.5: Years since my husband and I had a date. Yeah, really.
2: Friends who came in from out of town we got to hang out with.

5: Attempts the Junebug made to make his peas disappear. (Disney magic.)

42: Homemade donuts I made this morning, half of them wheat- egg- and dairy-free.

50: Times I wished I had something better to do with the kids, but it rained all weekend.

Please fax me a donut.
Wow. The donuts look really good! We made 10 pounds of cuban meetballs and 3 dozen brownies for a United Way Fundraiser at my work. The kids do like to stir in the chocolate!
At least you were able to spend time with friends. If I lived closer, I'd offer to watch your kids so you could go on a date. :(
That is a LOT of doughnuts. Sometimes I think I should take up baking and cooking....but then I change my mind again.
You're such a cool mama! I want someone to make me some doughnuts!!
1.5 -- you need to fix that!
Yes, you need a datenight, stat!
