That's cool, just hanging out in the street. I remember doing that when I lived in a city. Now, it's a little different with all the dirt roads in the rural neighborhood. But great sentiment. :)

That's one of the main reasons we're hoping to move...we love our neighborhood but our particular court has NO kids. Our kids are the only ones riding bikes in the street!

Your post brought back those same happy memories for me. It's a wonderful part of growing up not many kids can enjoy these days.

I remember our skidding contest in the dirt road out front. We'd wait for the great big clouds of dust to clear so we could see who left the longest track in the soft dust.
