We all make soooo many mistakes. The difference between a good parent and a bad one? The good one CARES that he/she made a mistake and strives to make changes.<br /><br />Even your oldest is still very young. Be careful to not set expectations too high! Even now I remind myself that my oldest was not on the outside world 8 years ago. I spend time almost every day just LOOKING at my kids. They are amazing. But I like to believe that the mistakes will matter less than the rest of it. For example, I remember the fun parts of my childhood more than the not-fun parts.
