My brother once called glitter the STD of the craft world. Nuff said.

My oldest went to a Wizard of Oz birthday party and came home with a wand-which was really a plastic tube filled to the brim with glitter and play dough stuck in either end. So of course by the next day the play dough had dried out and one swish of the wand sent glitter flying ALL OVER the room. I pretty much wanted to strangle the mother who thought it was a good idea to send such a disaster home with my son.

Of course, last year at my daughter's fairy party I sprinkled "pixie dust" in the hair of all the little girls. Several showers later my daughter still had pixie dust in her hair. Yea, pretty sure I was the despised mom that time around.

Oh wait, but this post wasn't REALLY about glitter.

I loathe glitter. Seriously.

And you need to take a break...or a nap. One of the two. Just reading about the amount of things you take on makes me tired. It does not get easier as they get older, although the sleep deprivation will definitely catch up to you. ;)

Making your own Valentines for preschoolers?! I'm sure they were adorable before the kids took them home and likely ripped them to shreds.

Here's the truth. You have 5 years of dealing with mess and toys everywhere...5 years with each kid. Next thing you know, they don't want you around and want to do everything for themselves.

It's so hard to realize when you're in the midst, but really. REALLY. Don't wish away these days. Never ever.

I'm the same way. The only time I can get anything done is late at night. I don't last until 2am, though. This girl needs her sleep, even if it is only 5 or 6 hours.

And glitter drives me crazy. I find it on me even when I haven't been handling it. It just turns up.

oh my. I so could have wrote this. I too am struggling to do too much. I keep thinking five more years five more years (till the youngest is in school of course) Then a kind mom informed me that once they are all in school I will be too!
